History of the Company
Our business began in the years following the Second World War as a specialist spring manufacturer founded by John Bradley Senior.
Initially serving the region’s thriving textile industry, we produced shuttle covers, bobbins and garter springs for weaving looms.
Our reputation for quality quickly earned loyal customers — some of whom we still supply today.
1980s
As the decades progressed, the company evolved under John Bradley Junior, expanding into sheet metal fabrication and pioneering work with Amada machinery.
By the 1980s, we were supplying metal cabinets for telecommunications, early computers and CCTV systems.
2000s
In the 2000s, we diversified again — producing fixtures and fittings for retail, lighting, and later street furniture.
Today
Today, under the leadership of Nigel Bradley, our third-generation Managing Director, we operate from a 127,000 sq. ft. facility offering a complete manufacturing service under one roof.
Through every chapter, one constant remains: our commitment to precision, quality, and relationships that last.
